Our Chef Knife is made from X50CrMoV15 Stainless Steel, which helps make ours high quality and maintain a super sharp edge that does not need to be sharpened as often. Lower quality knives you might find at Henkels, Wusthof classic, or shun, feature high carbon, which will have you pulling out your whetstone more often.

What is Asymmetrical Bevel Tech?

Asymmetrical Bevel Tech, or ABT™, is a revolutionary edge geometry that sharpens the knife at a 14° angle on one side and a 4° polished angle on the other. Unlike traditional double-bevel blades, this asymmetrical profile reduces resistance as you cut, allowing the blade to glide through food with twice the sharpness and dramatically smoother, more controlled cuts. And even though the blade is asymmetrical, it's been carefully designed to feel intuitive for both right- and left-handed chefs.
