Is a Pizza Pan with Holes Better?

We think so. These holes simulate a pizza oven in your regular oven, making your pizza crust much better. A Baking stone on the other hand, might not help you get the crispy crust you are hoping for.

A Pizza Pan is designed for pizza baking. It is a non stick piece of bakeware that is similar to a pizza stone but different. It helps conduct heat. It is not to be confused with a deep dish pizza pan.

With a diameter of 13", the Pizza Plate is perfectly sized to fit pies cooked on our Pizza Steel—which measures 12.5" in diameter—plus half an inch of wiggle room. Like our other ceramic dishes and serving pieces, the Pizza Plate is dishwasher safe and features a stain-resistant glaze for a durable, low-maintenance serving piece that'll look pristine for years, no matter how messy your meals get.
